Applicable law – This website is situated and maintained in South Africa. Therefore these terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
When making use of the GCᵌH the user agrees that they have taken notice and accepted the following important information relating to the ordering of the Halaal meals;
Turn-around time:
GCᵌH states that is works on a 48-hour lead time for orders.
If a client has an urgent request, we may consider this, but we will offer a chef’s choice menu. Urgent requests must be made telephonically or per email.
Delivery:
GCᵌH offers delivery based on the following conditions.
We only offer delivery when more that 10x items have been ordered.
Collection of orders at Gallagher Convention Centre, 19 Richards Drive, Midrand, 1685.
Delivery is offered in Gauteng, in a 50-kilometre radius, at a standard fee.
Deliveries further than the 50-kilometre radius will be charged over and above the standard fee.
Allergies:
Please note that all food is produced in our kitchen and may contain traces of;
Wheat / Gluten / Dairy / Eggs / Nuts / Soy / Tree Nuts / Fish/ Shellfish / Sesame/ Etc.
Packaging:
Each product line has a description of its packaging and heating guidelines.
These guidelines must be adhered to as GCᵌH will not accept any responsibility for any loss, injury or damage caused while not adhering to the guidelines provided.
Understanding our product lines:
DCP
All DDP packages are served in a DDP box containing plated cold menu items.
The DDP box will be sealed with a tamper-proof sticker.
Please take care when reheating as foil packaging is not microwave safe & plastic packaging is not oven-safe.
Plated special dietary requirements
All meals are served in a box containing plated cold menu items.
The box will be sealed with a tamper-proof sticker.
Please take care when reheating as foil packaging is not microwave safe & plastic packaging is not oven-safe.
Platter selection
Cold platters are served in a disposable black platter with a clear plastic dome lid, sealed with a tamper-proof sticker.
Hot platters are served in a disposable foil platter with a clear plastic dome lid sealed with a tamper-proof sticker.
The foil platter is suitable for reheating in the oven once the lid has been removed.
Frozen selection
Our Frozen Selection is available in 1Kg portions.
Frozen meals are packaged in a disposable foil dish, suitable for reheating in the microwave or oven once the lid has been removed.
The meals will be sealed with a tamper-proof sticker.
Storage Guidelines for Frozen Meals:
Keep this meal frozen until you are ready to use it.
Defrost all frozen meals thoroughly before heating and consume within 2 days thereof.
Freezer meals are freshly frozen. Please use food from the freezer within 2 months.
Heating Guidelines for Frozen Selection:
Frozen meals must be defrosted thoroughly before heating.
Remove the lid from the foil dish and heat in 180°oven for +- 30 min or in the microwave until heated thoroughly.
Kindly note times may vary depending on the oven/microwave.
Storage guidelines & best before guidelines:
DCP:
We do not recommend using our DCP meals after two days from the manufacturing date.
We have no control over the storage of these products once delivery has been made.
GCᵌH recommends that these products kept in cool storge until it is served.
Special dietary requirements:
We do not recommend using our plated meals after two days from the manufacturing date.
We have no control over the storage of these products once delivery has been made.
GCᵌH recommends that these products kept in cool storge until it is served.
Platters:
We do not recommend using our our meals after two days from the manufacturing date.
We have no control over the storage of these products once delivery has been made.
GCᵌH recommends that these products kept in cool storge until it is served.
Please keep in mind that plastic platters and plastic dome lids are not suitable for use in the oven.
Silver platters are not suitable for use in the microwave.
Frozen Meals:
Meals must be kept frozen until you are ready to use them.
Frozen meals should not be kept longer than two months and should be used within two days of defrosting and heating.
Please keep in mind that the lid is not suitable for reheating.
The foil container is suitable for use in the microwave and the oven.
In the event that unforeseen circumstances may lead to the use of a different container, a temporary disclaimer will be added to the product warning that it may not be safe for use in a microwave.
Defrost the product thoroughly before heating.
Heating times will vary.
